이원난농원 덴드로비움 피에스타 행사 난 3번 Dendrobium Nestor 'Blue Angel'(DNBA) 예쁜 꽃을 물고 왔다.
네스터는 페어리시아이와 아너스룸 교배종으로 고온 종에 속한다 하니 저온처리가 필요없을 거 같다.
꽃이 줄기 끝에서만 피는데 이것은 종 특성이라고 한다.
외국 사진 찾아보면 안 그런 사진도 많던데... 우리나라 기후 탓일 수도... 내년에는 어떨지?
| Dendrobium Nestor 'Blue Angel' – Coerulea (aka Little Sweet Scent). It is a primary hybrid of Den. parishii x Den. anosmum. This coerulea variety has a touch of Blue purple with dark blue throat in blue color lip. This Dendrobium reach full bloom in late March and remain in bloom for about four weeks. Under cooler conditions, the flowers may last longer. A well grown pseudobulb can produce over 100 flowers. These plants have heat tolerance and do not need a cold winter rest in order to bloom. Blooms on old and newly matured leafless canes. They are heavy feeders and want abundant water in their growing cycle from April to October. Grow them in an area of filtered sunlight. Avoid direct midday sunlight, unless you are close to the mountains and have a lot of cloud cover. Plants look better when they are not in bloom! NOTE: This type of Dendrobium drops its leaves just before coming into flower season. Once the plant is done flowering new growths will emerge from the base of the plant and produce keikies(?) along the canes.

2023.04.08. 환영해 블루 엔젤! 정말 예쁘구나^^ 분갈이하면서 새순을 조심했는데 부러지는 건 한 순간이었다. 다행인지 실뿌리가 달려있어서 옆에 심었는데 어쩔런지?

2023.04.30. 분갈이 때 떨어진 아가를 처음부터 온실에서 따로 관리했어야 하는데 성체와 함께 키우다보니 건조에 말라갔다. 결국 물러서 꽃다리를 건넜다.
2023.04.16. 처음 왔을 때보다 훨씬 싱싱해졌다. 분갈이에도 순둥순둥. 앞으로도 순둥하길 바라며... 잘라진 새순을 생각 못하고 너무 말렸더니 잎이 탔다. 그래도 잘 견디고 있다. 물을 담을 수 있는 대공이 형성되기 전까지는 신경 많이 써야한다. 내가 잘못했으니...
